Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

The explanations and information provided on this page are only general and high-level explanations and information on how to write your own document of a Refund Policy. You should not rely on this article as legal advice or as recommendations regarding what you should actually do, because we cannot know in advance what are the specific refund policies that you wish to establish between your business and your customers. We recommend that you seek legal advice to help you understand and to assist you in the creation of your own Refund Policy.

Refund Policy - the basics

Having said that, a Refund Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers regarding how and if you will provide them with a refund. Online businesses selling products are sometimes required (depending on local laws and regulations) to present their product return policy and refund policy. In some jurisdictions, this is needed in order to comply with consumer protection laws. It may also help you avoid legal claims from customers that are not satisfied with the products they purchased.

What to include in the Refund Policy

Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.

I want you to feel confident buying from ADHD Mums Club. This page explains what happens if something isn't right.

Digital downloads (ebooks)

Because ebooks are delivered instantly and digitally, I'm unable to offer refunds once the file has been downloaded — this is standard practice for digital products and is consistent with UK consumer law.

If you have a technical issue accessing your download, please contact me at adhdmumsclub@gmail.com and I'll sort it out.

Before purchasing, please check that your device supports PDF files. If you're unsure, feel free to get in touch before buying.

Online courses

If you haven't accessed the course content: You're entitled to a full refund within 14 days of purchase, in line with UK consumer law on digital products.

If you have accessed the course content: By accessing the course, you acknowledge that the 14-day cooling-off period no longer applies. This will be made clear at the point of purchase and you'll be asked to confirm this before completing your order.

If you experience any technical issues accessing course content, please contact me and I'll resolve it as quickly as possible.

1-1 Coaching

Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice: Full refund or rescheduled session — your choice.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: Unfortunately I'm unable to offer a refund for late cancellations, as the session time has been reserved specifically for you. I'll always do my best to reschedule where I can.

If I need to cancel: If I have to cancel a session with less than 48 hours' notice, I'll offer you a full refund or a rescheduled session at a time that suits you.

Coaching packages: If you've purchased a coaching package and wish to cancel part-way through, you'll be refunded for any unused sessions, less any discount applied for buying in a bundle.

Something not right?

If you're unhappy with anything you've purchased, please reach out before assuming a refund isn't possible. I'd rather have the conversation and find a solution than leave you feeling short-changed.
